Season VII: Shattered Empire

MORTALS! I bear momentous tidings—this Friday, the Intercalary recedes, & so riseth SEASON VII: SHATTERED EMPIRE! A new season of talk showery—of continuity—of ADVENTURE! Dear Cynthia Weatherwax rejoins us at long last, timed perfectly as we undertake this new voyage! Be there Friday 8PT & join us in…the SHATTERED EMPIRE!

I normally include in Wednesday missives an amusing list, or powerful predictions, or other delights & sundry. But with the astonishing level of slander & rumor flying about regarding the situation in Los Angeles, I must speak of the truth.

The city is not beset by riots. It has not burned to the ground, nor is it occupied by elite Antifanarchist strike forces backed by John Podesta, George Soros, & the ghost of Barack Obama. Beset by violence? Aye—black-booted swine stalk the streets, & schools, hunting for children to kidnap. For anyone to kidnap, truly. The folk of Los Angeles could withstand this governmental terror no longer, & took—peacefully—to the streets. The town guard responded with blistering violence, gassing crowds, bludgeoning innocents, trampling with horses, & firing upon several journalists. Dissatisfied with mere brutality, thy king, the wretched Jarl Trump, has now sent two waves of soldiers into the city. Combatting an “invasion,” which covers a few blocks, a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of the land of Los Angeles. A city impossibly vast—& as he shall soon discover, utterly impossible to control by unilateral force.

Aye, some Waymos were set ablaze—driverless cars, with no passengers inside, belonging to a company with $11 billion in capital. Aye, some pig-wagons too suffered flame. Is that worse than clubbing journalists, or gassing children, or breaking into schools to seize students? I think not. & it seems, good mortals across the Imperium Americum agree! For Los Angeles & its environs are but one facet of the explosive resistance to Jarl Trump & his badge-toting bastards. From Portland, to Omaha, down to Austin & up to Lexington & over to New York—Americans in vast numbers begin to stir!

The MAGA loyalists, & their allies in the media, wish ye to believe Los Angeles a smoking ruin, beset by secret super-immigrants who would declare a new Kingdom of Mexico. Lies, deception—misinformation, pressed with the utmost urgency across all channels. As the situation evolves—as the unrest spreads to all 50 States, with the “No Kings” actions planned for Saturday—ye must select carefully where to find true information:

• A channel called “Woke” often broadcasts, a pure mix of on-the-ground feeds from normal citizens streaming on their phones. Perfect for seeing the actual situation, as close as possible to the action—with feeds from all across the benighted country.

• The People’s City Council of LA collects videos, stories, & photographs from protestors on the ground; the accounts they re-post, tend also to provide quality information.

• The American Prospect provides able, more traditional reporting on the events (& the news more broadly), including a story from June 8th discussing the ways in which ICE, LAPD, & other pig-men incite violence, as a pretext for more violence.

If ye know other sources for other areas, please share them in a comment below! But the best way to find out the truth, is to seek out streams & feeds from protestors themselves. Ye cannot trust the news to report honestly on this; they will never admit that the monsters wielding clubs against babies, are monsters. They will insist to you that “outside agitators” force the police to resort to savagery, though the livestreams show that the police strike first. Look to eyewitnesses, for truth. & know that the 470-square-mile megalopolis of Los Angeles, suffers indeed from lawless violence—by the uniformed ogres known as “police,” & the rifle-toting soldiers who guard them.
