Yuletide Adventure '25

"...and be Merry."

Good tidings I bring—of YULETIDE ADVENTURE! Each year, round Yuletide, I seem to find myself on a grand quest—last year, the “SEASON WITHOUT A SANTA,” I adventured with kindly SMÉAGYULE to unravel the machinations of the wretched GOLLUN MUSK.

This year, hoping for a more mellow holiday, I arrived at the North Pole bearing some spicèd mead—only to find, Santa would not meet with me!

Nor anyone!

He has locked himself in his operatory, admitting no visitors, not e’en Mrs. Claus. The Elves tell me he gazes all day into his Kringle-Stone, muttering of the horrors of the world. For hours at his door, I entreated him grant me entry. I charmed, I sang, I admonished & begged; nothing worked. I set the mead in the snow, & turned to leave, when this note slid out from beneath his chamber door:

HELL’S JINGLE BELLS,” I exclaimed, startling several Elves. I would normally not refuse Saint Nicholas anything he requests, but demons to handle Christmas? Nay, imagine the utter disasters! No matter how well ye bind a demon, ‘twill find some loophole to disobey. Sending demons down each chimney on the globe? As if ye mortals need anything else to worry about.

Nay, NAY. I understand his dour mood, but this will not do! I must set this aright, before the big night. So often, Christmas stories require restoring Christmas spirit. But now I must restore Santa’s faith in mortal-kind!

A tall order, I am sure ye will all agree. This may be my most difficult quest yet…

The adventure continues on Wednesday!

Thank ye for reading, mortals! & thank ye to all who support our works here with coin! Trips to the North Pole come not cheaply, & ‘tis a relief to be able to use coven funds for coven business.

Will I succeed in lifting Santa’s spirits? I’ve 24 days to try…I shall write ye come Wednesday with news of this week’s episode, plus the next part of the adventure! ‘Til then, be safe, be well, & try to think good thoughts of mortal-kind

Cheers,
