Wormtongue Combinator + Wizarding Tarot!

This Friday at 8PT, we seek the aid of Rohan on our quest against the Elon Husks—but LO! A miserable GATEKEEPER, Gríma Wormtongue! He will only allow “Proper Businessmen” into Edoras, & so we must PRETEND TO BUSINESS! Featuring a special “Tarot for Business” segment, a monologue of essential BUSINESS NEWS, & so much MORE! Mark off an hour on thy calendars, mortals, for the ONE meeting which CANNOT be an email!

& now, to wash the taste of Business from thy mouths, enjoy a morsel of art, in the form of a WIZARDING TAROT card! Many great works, & grand magickal workings, take much time. I began work on the Wizarding Tarot deck three years ago, & if all goes well, I shall complete it before 2025?

This card is my take on the standard “Fool” arcanum; it features ME, a fool, capering about in front of a ruined castle. When drawn upright, it connotes frivolity, foolishness, or possibly a simple need to have fun. I sometimes feel laboring over my own tarot deck is a folly, & so the card also works as a delightful in-joke for myself. Many great works of magick are, in fact, in-jokes, though most wizards would never admit it. The “Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram,” for instance, is a reference to a particularly bad blind date that Crowley went on…
