The Cards Did Tell
Delayed by a night in Otherworld

Evening, mortals! Apologies for the delay in today’s publication—Summersbane & I were waylaid by THE FAE. More on that below—but first, thank ye to all who joined us last night for Tarot Total! We hope our readings provided insight & entertainment. If ye missed out, catch the replay here!
& if ye were assigned viewing of The Pitt (or ER, an ye have evil in thy heart), please report back on whether it helped!

Burlesque from Sylvia
After the Tarot Total last night, Summersbane & I took to the woods for an amble, as is our custom. To our surprise, the old ruined castle (visible through the window during our show, for our eagle-eyed viewers), throbbed with song & spirit. We had not seen it so for nearly half a year—around Yule last they held a feast! ‘Twas no mortal gathering, we knew, but we were powerless to resist the allure of the sidhe.
We entered, welcomed as old fellows, though they ne’er had met Summersbane before. I had dallied in the keep, round Yule, for one strange night, but so warmly they embraced us that one would think we had spent long æons in company. We drank of the mead of Otherworld—an unwise libation, for mere mortals, & a potent potable still e’en to immortal mages such as we. Ethereal songs, entrancing dances, ageless beings in living vests—all these we encountered, & more.
& thus, the Scriptorium comes tardily, as I hope ye shall understand. For consorting with the fæ always carries a price…
Thank ye for reading, mortals! & we extend especial thanks to those generous mortals who can & do support our works with donations, Twitch-subscriptions, “Bits,” & coin right here in the Scriptorium.
I shall write ye come Monday, with fresh art & a tale, provided I fall not again into the clutches of Otherworld. ‘Til then—be safe, be well, & go easy on the magic mead…
Cheers,
Amoenus Franco
