On the Vitality of Rage

& the Power of Screams

A world awash in titanic terrors

Monday’s greetings, mortals—have ye felt, as I have, full of boiling rage lately? Fury at the groaning beasts who run the benighted Earth, who burn her seas & starve her children? GOOD. Rage, anger, these are right & righteous reactions to a world of horrors!

When each day brings sad tidings, ill rumors, & a rising tide of tragedy, ‘tis tempting to sink. To seek rest, in despair, in solitude, in silence. But despair will ne’er bring the change needed—in silence & solitude, we shall know only defeat.

In rage, we may find a path to power. When screaming at the titanic terrors who stride this world—though it may feel pointless at first, for they are so large, & wield so much treasure—ye become a beacon, that others who share thy rage may find & join ye!

We must maintain the fury, & the volume, ‘til the horrors have ended. ‘Til all genocides end, ‘til all slaves walk free, ‘til all thieving billionaires face justice.

‘Til we stand together, watching dawn break over a new society. A society based on kindness, on community, on caring & contentment. A better world is possible—if we but become angry enough to seize it.

Thank ye for reading, mortals! & thank ye to growing faction of generous mortals who can & do support our works here with coin! Every farthing aids us in continuing to produce art for ye, facilitates our travel to ren faires, & we may have a particularly incredible destination for next year…

I shall write ye Wednesday with news of this week’s show—CYNTHIA RETURNETH! I can hardly wait—’til then, be safe, be well, & MAY THE MONSTERS NE’ER KNOW PEACE WHILE WE STILL DRAW BREATH

Cheers,
