Heeding a Call to Adventure

HO, mortals! A boisterous season premiere—did ye see it? Witness the glory? Of Cynthia returned, of obelisks rampant, of OPERA?! In the end, to save the life of belovèd comedian Mel Brooks, we accepted the wretched QUEST OF THE OBELISKS. Farewell, Emmys—greetings, Shattered Empire! For more, observe swiftly the replay!

Apologies we offer to Mel Brooks, for last night, ghosts kidnapped him on behalf of the OBELISKS OF ADVENTURE. By contrast, we offer no apologies to Katy Perry, whom we booked merely because the network SO DEMANDED, & whom we bumped due to Cynthia’s extended extemporaneous-o-logue. ‘Twas all worth it to save the life of Mel Brooks, & to avoid hearing the “music” of Katy Perry.

Many mortals seem intent upon joining the so-called “NO KINGS” protest, on this the 14th day of June. They recommend passive protestation—their official guidance, that the best resistance be NONE AT ALL. We disagree! Find below three core tips for any weekend excursions:

• SPEAK NOT TO THE POLICE. They deserve no respect & less information; the less ye provide, the less they may turn upon ye.,

• BE AS WATER. Should the relentless swine attempt to box ye in—FLOW, to a new location. Flow past exits, turnoffs, past walls of badge-wielding hogs! A mobile protest, is a protest invincible.

• GO NOT ALONE. Bring with ye at least one Igor friend! A lone protestor, is a vulnerable protestor, & ‘tis crucial to AVOID ARREST.

Thank ye for reading, mortals! Back in Season I, we could scarcely have imagined so large a crowd would witness our SEVENTH. We began under military occupation—& so we continue, thanks to the generosity of our coin-supporters!
