#GothWeek Encounters

PLUS: "Gay Thing"

A “The Crow” doing his Crow face

A Hell of a night! Honestly, ‘tis pretty relaxing, compared to the situation up on the world ye call “Earth.” Helps to have friends in low places, ne? We had a wonderful time with our guest, who was a “The Crow” (played by our friend, who is a “Nakamus”)! A lovely addition to the show, & a delightful entry in #GOTHWEEK. We also encountered Alaric the Goth, which was TERRIFYING. If ye missed out, or would like to relive the delights, ye can watch the replay here!

We found absolutely no clues to our murders—which may, itself, be a clue! But below, I wish to highlight an incredible Halloween costume from the community…

Terrifying encounter with Alaric THE Goth // Unclear what we were doing

GAY THING!” A running bit, brought to life—a vision of a remake of “The Thing,” where instead of mere xenophobia, the monster is homophobia! An incredible kind of magick, to see a thing talked-about become a thing worn-about! Wonderful job, TheArrrgyle!

MacReady, with trademark LGBT-friendly hat & trademark alien blood test

I hope ye all had a happy Halloween, a wondrous Samhain, a pious All-Hallows, & a rememberful Día de los Muertos! I shall write ye again come Monday with fresh art & a tale—& there are a couple of other bits of stream business to point out:

  • Sunday at 8PM Pacific, on The Doom Room, mortal host Frankie shall interview Jillian Burgos, a Socialist comedian running for City Council in Los Angeles! GEN-U-INE JOURNALISM.

  • & then, all night on Tuesday, Frankie shall host live Election Night coverage, to see whether or not America shall fall into maximum depravity. Huzzah?

Thank ye again to all who joined us for the show last night—an amazing crowd! Be sure to check out the new “e-motes” added, for subscribers & bits-tossers. We thank all who read our dispatches, & to all who can & do provide funding for our works, whether during our streams, through our shoppe, or right here in the Scriptorium!

‘Til Monday—be safe, be well, & remember to consider the war elephant. But, avoid examining the undercarriage.

Cheers,
