A Delightful Wintry Night

Good morrow, mortals! What a lovely night we spent, with good cheer, in good company! If ye missed out on our wintry evening—on Grimelda’s litany of sins, on our controversial sponsor the Department of War, on new lore about Summersbane’s current flesh-cage—then head to the replay, right here!

‘Twas a delight to catch up with Grimelda again, after so long. She unburdened her soul of her many sins—mostly, various fraud schemes. As we planned, I took her with me to the North Pole back on Earth this morning. She confronted Mrs. Claus, rudely anti-apologized, & we successfully faked her death, so that she could be reborn as Ysmelda Pebblehandle.

Rest in Peace, Grimelda; thy debts be now legally dissolved.

Whilst at the North Pole, as part of this year’s Yuletide Adventure, I paid Santa another visit in his operatory. He is, as ye know, rather despondent at the state of the world; he has lost faith in mortal-kind, & in Christmas. So, I am on a quest to CHEER HIM UP.

Today, I thought, he may be at least somewhat jolly—‘tis St. Nicholas Day, after all! I tried to lift his spirits by reminding him of happier times, like when he & I defeated Joe Manchin back in 2022:

But, clutching his cursèd Kringle-stone, he lamented that mortals “have only further despoiled the Earth” since 2022, & defeating Manchin did nothing to “undo the wretched systems of Man.” I could hardly disagree.

So, on this St. Nicholas Day, I beseech ye, kind mortals: HELP A MAGE OUT? If ye know of some good news, or good deeds, that may restore ol’ St. Nick’s faith in mortal-kind, leave a comment below, would ye please? Nothing yet from my arsenal has worked, but I am hoping someone out there has SOMEthing good for Santa?
