A Conference of Sellery

Moon-day’s greetings, mortals! In the interest of transparency, to-day I present a poster from a dark period in my long, unlimited life.

The “sales conference” industry, spans a longer line of history than most mortals comprehend. In the Eighth Century AD, I participated in the first-e’er of such events! I were told, by the organizers, that this would “revolutionize society,” & ‘t would “usher in a new era of prosperity.”

Neither were true, of course. O!, aye, the organizers’ purses were revolutionized, & they enjoyed a new era of prosperity, but all of mortal-kind were impoverished by this “innovation.”

I hope ye can forgive me, mortals, for my part in this ghastly invention. Had I known that, one day, the “conference of sellery” would result in Patrick Bet-David & Mark the Not-Cuban, I ne’er would have accepted. I would, instead, have burnt it to the ground, & flayed alive the glib organizers.

Regrets! Alas.
